About Us
Gabriel’s Garden is situated in a quiet corner of South Norfolk in the village of Gissing on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. The business was born out of a lifelong love and appreciation for the countryside, naturally beautiful flowers and a passion for our native flora and fauna.
Our gardens are a rolling celebration of the British seasons and a floral tapestry of colour. Fragrant bulbs, ranunculus, buds and blossom signify the delicate notes of spring. Blowsy peonies, old fashioned fragrant roses and perfumed sweet peas celebrate the heady scent of summer. Jewel coloured dahlias, sun loving zinnias, long lasting chrysanthemums and sumptuous berries mark the vibrancy of autumn, they carry us into and through the winter months. Scented herbs, textural grasses, perennial, biennial and annual flowers, and a multitude of foliage plants complete the yearly mix.
Sustainability and mindfulness are central to the ethos of Gabriel’s Garden. Working alongside nature, encouraging and valuing the natural biodiversity in the garden is as important as producing quality flowers. Our beautiful flowers are grown using organic techniques and methods that embrace the principles of permaculture. The cutting garden is a tranquil place, home to a wide variety of birds, bees and beneficial insects.
We aim to be plastic and floral foam free. Plant pots, trays and bags are reused in the garden and the materials used in the floristry can be recycled, reused or composted
